     (Eastern Trade Forum 2013) organized by the East chamber on Wednesday (25/11/2013- 19/11/1434) Seeks to shed light on the future of commercial activity in the eastern region, by stopping at stations related phenomena, and some obstacles to its growth, or distort its image (such as commercial fraud and cover-up, high prices, and export and import barriers in ports) and the impact of these phenomena directly (or indirectly) on commercial traffic.  The Chairman of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Rashed, adding that the Forum is held under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the eastern region, will consider trade regulations and their impact on economic development, the impact of competition on growth and development of trade and the effects of globalization on commercial traffic, etc.
    AlRashid said that the Forum will discuss the three axes, spread over three sessions, which presents eight papers, a number of speakers, while addressing the first meeting of the axis (movement of trade under economic globalization) headed by a Professor of management at the Dammam University, Dr. Saleh Rashid, which presents two papers on (high world prices and its impact on the local market) by Managing Director Bader Alaujan from Al-muhaidib foods Company , (role of electronic commerce in business development) and the Executive Director of National Initiatives Company Rasheed albalaa.
    The second session, chaired by the Chairman of the Committee on customs brokers in the East Chamber, Walid alghithar, will discuss (measures in ports and their contribution to the growth of trade) which will define the two papers also, speaking at the First Counselor Head of Saudi customs Mitch (Customs role in facilitating trade), while the second paper is talking about (the smooth movement of goods at ports and airports and their relationship to business growth acceleration) presented by Director of import and shipping company Colgate-Palmolive Arabic Omar Hardan.
    The third session of the forum chaired by Shura Council Member, Dr. Amr Rajab (trading systems and enhance competitiveness), and four working papers will be introduced during this meeting dealing with the first paper (competition law and its role in strengthening the competitiveness of businesses) by the Secretary General of the Council for the protection of competitiveness, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qasim, while the second paper (covering trade and economic effects) provided by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and administration at King Abdulaziz University Dr. Ayman Fadel. While looking for the third paper (the role of trade in development of the national economy) provided by the lawyer and legal adviser Dr. Osama Al-Qahtani, and the fourth paper (commercial fraud control mechanisms) presented by Director of commercial fraud in the Ministry of trade and industry Fahd hedhili. AlRashid expressed the hope in the success of this event, and to achieve the desired objectives in support of the commercial sector with a set of recommendations that contribute to its development and raising the level of its contribution to overall development.
    The Trade Commission head in the Chamber Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al Dosari said to commercial activity in the eastern region by successive developments, imposed by geographical and historical realities stemming from the area as the capital of the industry, and they occur on line trade exchanges between Saudi Arabia and the GCC, as well as the ancient trade link with India, Yemen and others all that we as employees in this sector that we meet to exchange views on the development of this activity and maximizing added value to the national economy, and that's what we hope to achieve Through this forum, organized by the Trade Commission in the East Chamber.

    Aldossary said the importance of this forum lies under that it is under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the eastern region, and gracing the representatives of a number of government agencies, beside the Government keen on developing trade performance and upgrade it to serve the public in the region. He hoped that the Forum dialogues and discussions at the event level, consistent with the importance of the business in General, and in the eastern region in particular.
